| Remember these things - Jacobs Atv Magazine is your #1 Independent Atv Resource - - My testing and reports are from real world settings not staged settings - - I don't buy and flip quads, meaning when I buy a quad I keep them. Many people will buy a quad only to sell it in a few months or miles. You will have the benefit of watching the life of a quad from beginning to finish. I log several thousands of miles on these machines and you get to see it all - - We travel the country to review and bring the best parks to you - |

| My name is Greg Jacobs, and my wife and I have been atving since 2002. This hobby has turn into a passion, and something I take very seriously. I not only love to ride Atvs, but I enjoy writing about them, and everything that revolves around atving. I primiarly specialize in Utility Atvs from the small machines to the monster big bores. I ride everything from the deepest and nasiest mudholes, to some of the best trails in the country. I love every type of riding, and have machines for each situation. We travel the country to find the perfect ride, and report it to you through our adventure site, and magazine site. We have been doing this for 5 years, and plan to continue for years to come. I ride all type of ATV's. I have no personal preferences, each one has its own pros and cons, and I am here to help you find the perfect ATV or how to make your ATV better, and to show you where you can ride. The purpose of this magazine is to bring you real world atving. What does that mean? Real World Atving means exactly that . . . real world situations; no staged courses to make an ATV look good or bad, and no false hype, just the facts. I have subscribed in the past to all of the major ATV magazines only to be disappointed with page after page of advertisements, biased reviews, and reviews that scratch the surface and do not address the real facts of ATV's. Number 1; The majority of Atv Magazines are full of sponsors. Not only does it fill pages and pages of non-sense advertisments, but more importantly when reviews are conducted the reviewers opinions are clouded by paid advertisers. Do you really think a reviewer will criticize or write openly about a product or machine if that sponsor is a major contributor to their magazine; of course not. Do you really think you will receive an honest review of a particular machine, when that editor is flown to an exotic location to test out a machine, given free meals, and other perks; of course not. I don't accept sponsors or paid advertisements, I never have, and this is why I have built my reputation on providing un-biased reviews for the last 5 years. My websites may not be slick or fancy, I may not have the budget of a huge magazine, but the information that I do provide is un-filtered, accurate, fair and balance. If I do receive a free product to test I will openly tell you, and provide an un-biased opinion of that product. Since I don't have sponsors or paid advertisers I do charge a small fee. My sites have been free in the past, but there are several reasons why I now charge for the information, and the services I provide. Number 2; Another major disappointment of these major magazines is the quality of the reviews. These reviewers are mainly sport quad guys, and as we all know riding a sport ATV vs a utility ATV are two different animals. With this magazine it is 100% utility machines, and a person who has extensive utility ATV experience. You won't receive a one or two day ride review like you get from these magazines. Instead, I provide a long term review in all different types of terrain, and situations. The quality of my reviews far surpass any review you will receive from another magazine or site. Again, I value all machines, I am not funded by manufacturers, nor I am married to any one ATV, so my reviews are pure, honest, and un-biased. Number 3; I do not like to wait 30 days for information. If I want to know something, I want to know it now. My site will be updated nearly every day. Plus, unlike other magazines you can debate, and ask questions of our editors through our ATV forum. You have full access to us. The purpose of this magazine is not only to bring you machine reviews, but product reviews also. I will cover it all from camera reviews, to fuel pack reviews, to GPS reviews, to tires, etc... I will cover anything and everything that has to do with Atving. Once again . . . just like my machine reviews, my product reviews will be fair and un-biased. Why should you join my site and pay money when there are a ton of free sites out there? Its simple; the quality of information, and the amount of information that you receive from my site is like no other. I have extensive experience riding and reviewing major manufactures ATV's, so I am able to bring first hand knowledge of riding these machines. Since I live in the South, I able to ride throughout the year, (I ride nearly every weekend) so I have alot of seat time on these machines. I will also update my site daily, so you don't have to wait for an entire month for information. The "site map" on this web page will provide nearly all the content that is on my magazine site, plus you will be able to see upcoming reviews, and what information was updated for that particular month. You will know exactly what you are getting for your money. Unlike many other magazines, once I complete an article or post something on my site, I will have a forum set up in which you can talk to me, and discuss that particular article or park review, or product review in real time. Again, since I am not taking sponsors or advertisers I a fee which pays for the maintenance and cost of running this site. I hope you give my magazine a chance, and at any time you are not happy or have a suggestion to improve the site just send me an email. greg@jacobsatvmagazine.com |
