AtvAir
Back To Main
How many times have you had a flat tire on the trail and did not have an air
compressor, or your air compressor failed? Or, did you not have the room for an air
compressor, and were tight on storage? Well there is a quick solution for both, and it is
called AtvAir.
AtvAir was created by an avid Atver named Rich Pollimer, who would
spend days in the back country of Colorado, and needed a reliable way to fill flats on
his Atv. So, you know it is going to work when it was created and designed by an Atver.
This product will fill your tire up with air, utilizing your machine's exhaust.
Thats right, just connect the metal nozzle to your valve stem, insert the cone
into the exhaust, place your machine in neutral, and begin filling your tire.
Here are a few tips and things to consider.

1. If you have a larger V-Twin motor it is easier and faster to fill your tire with
air, since the V-Twins tend to produce greater back pressure. The trick to
this system is greater the back pressure the better this system works.

2. If you do not have a large V-Twin motor, and have a single cylinder motor
700cc or less you will need to give the machine quite a bit of throttle. There
is not enough back pressure to fill the tire just simply idling the motor.

3. You will need to wear a thick leather glove when holding the rubber nozzle
to the exhaust or you could burn your finger.

4. You will need to leave a slight gap between the rubber nozzle and exhaust
to allow some back pressure to escape or your machine will stall.

5. You will need two people if you have a larger machine like a UTV or
Extended Wheelbase machine. You will not be able to hold the rubber nozzle
to the exhaust, and apply the throttle for extra back pressure.

6. Be sure to air your tire in a well ventilated area.
My overall thoughts. This is a very creative product, and does work. You do need to be careful in not burning your
finger since the exhaust does get hot, but a good pair of gloves will take care of this. It is very small and compact,
and is easily stowed away. You may still want to use your traditional air compressor, however, I will suggest in
having this system as a back up or even use it as your primary air filler. This system requires very little
requirements, other than back pressure from your exhaust. Below is a video of the system in action. In addition to
all of the above positive factors, this product is MADE IN THE USA, be sure to support Dennis and his company.
