I would like to welcome Thrills and Chills (T&C) to the magazine. T&C is a new park that has opened in South Central Oklahoma. The owners Michael and Randy are very excited about this park, and are ready to do whatever it takes to make this park the premier event and ride park. This park is roughly 950 acres and may eventually be expanded to 1500 acres. T&C also offers Atv rentals not only at their park, but also to Lake Murray, and Cross Bar Ranch.

T&C Atv Park used to be a deer lease, and primarily catered to deer hunters. There are some existing trails and roads from the hunters, but the majority of the property is open for anywhere you want to ride. The owners are creating new trails and expanding the riding area. You will see plenty of wildlife as you ride around.

As I mention you can  pretty much ride where ever you want. There are several stock ponds on the property and the owners said you can swim in these ponds and cool off in during the summer. One of these ponds the owners are going to turn it into a mud bog.

Below are pictures of the typical trails you can expect that are currently at the park. They are wide open, and easy to navigate.

Most of the trails are in open terrain, but there are some trails that navigate through the woods. This is where the owners are adding trails, and making the trails wider as we speak. So, there are wooded trails to ride through, and more are being added.

There is also a small creek that passes through the property, and the trails do criss cross through this creek.

You can explore and navigate up this creek.

There is also a small rocky play area that you can challenge yourself on.

As I mention earlier much of the terrain and trails are in wide open areas, and the views are very nice. This is a great place to bring beginner riders or if you like an easy cruise. The property is bordered by a metal fence.

The above pictures pretty much show what you can expect at Thrills and Chills. I really want to now emphazie what this park has the potential to be. Keep in mind this park has only been open for a few months and is improving everyday. Having said that this park has incredible potential to be the premier event park. What this means is they basically have a blank canvas to work with, and can hold mud bog events, drag racing, dirt bike/quad races, sled pull events, obstacle course events, and other events. Look for Jacobs Atv Magazine to help T&C with  designing some of these courses. This is a place in which we will test some of our quads at once the structures are in place.

This above picture shows the start of the 300' drag strip. Eventually, this strip will have a fully lighted drag tree, with a time clock at the end of the strip. Guys, I am serious when I say these owners are serious about making this the premier event park, I mean it.

Unlike other event parks this park has many advantages. One, there are plenty of high wide open areas for camping. Second, once the events are over you can go out for a trail ride. Many event parks are only big enough to host the events, but do not have any areas to ride on. Third, this place is close by and easily located for everyone to get to. It is only 13 miles East of I-35/Exit 55 near Davis, Ok.

Overall, this park might not be nearly as big as some of the other Atv parks, but this is a high quality park that has a ton of potential. This is also another great, great park for families, and beginner riders. Unlike many other parks that are extremely dangerous when it comes to off camber technical terrain, deep watery mud bugs, or very rough and rocky terrain T&C is a great place to just cruise around on. Great place to learn how to ride or take your kids to teach them how to ride. Keep in mind T&C does offer Atv rentals, so if you don't have an Atv this a great place to ride your first Atv.
