"2,500 Mile Durability and  Reliability Review"
Pit Bull Rockers
Out of all the Pit Bull tire reviews I have done, this is probably the most important. In my initial reviews I was 100% confident in reporting my findings, but there were two things that were unknown, and that was durability, and reliability. I am primarily going to focus on the durability, reliability, and my overall thoughts. I will not rehash or bore you with what I already reported on, and will try to report new information. So, lets get started.
Lets take a look at these tires when they were brand new, as the above pictures show. Lets now take a look at some of the terrain, experiences, and places these tires have been through the last 2,500 miles.
These tires spent two weeks touring the Southwest from NM, AZ, CA, NV, and Moab, UT. This type of terrain does not get more harsh. I rode everything from sandy deserts, extreme rocks, cactus, rivers, dirt roads, paved roads, with zero failures. I did roll a tire off the wheel, but it was no fault of the tire. I was only running 3psi.
These tires spent a lot of time in Arkansas, and Oklahoma. These tires encountered sharp rocks, creek beds, soft pack trails, mud, steep hill climbs, and quite a bit of pavement. Out of those 2,500 miles I would dare say 700 miles of that was pavement mostly in Arkansas. No, failures.
These tires saw time in the Mountains of Pennsylvania as well as the Mines of PA. No, failures.
These tires have seen very deep snow as well.
On my most recent trip of the year that was to KY, and TN for a weeks worth of riding. Again, the terrain was harsh with zero failures.
Now, I thought I had my first "true" flat, but technically it was not a flat. Somewhere, on my property I picked up a 3" Nail. Now much is going to stop a 3" Nail, even an 8ply tire. Other than this, these tires have been bulletproof.
Okay, after travling the across the entire country from New York, to California, and after 2,500 hardcore miles, without any failures, this is what the tires look like. Considering the abuse, roughly 700 miles of pavement riding, and throwing everything at them they are holding up very well. They have worn very well, but if you do a lot of pavement riding they will get chewed up a lot faster, but this is not unusal since most tires are like this. No, doubt these tires wear as well as the Maxxis Bighorns, so even in the wear, durability, and reliability the Pit Bull Tires suprass or equal the Maxxis Bighorns once again.
This what Roger's tires looked like after 1,000 miles, and Roger rides the same terrain as I do.
My overall thoughts and impressions. Well guys, nearly a year later with 2,500 miles, and many more miles to go these Pit Bull tires are the real deal. If you want smooth handling/riding Radial tire these are them. If you want a 99% Bulletproof tire these are them. If you want a tire that has excellent wear, durability, and reliability these are them. If you want superior traction these are them. The wear, durability, and reliability were the only unknown factors, and we now know they have passed with flying colors. If this was last concern in buying these tires worry no more, and go out and buy them.

Hands down after testing tires all day long, and god only knows I am the most critical person, these are my primary tires. I want a tire that I don't have to mess with, or worry about failing me on the trail. These Pit Bull Tires have earned my trust, and is the only tire I will run.
